It's partly sad, partly happy, but all true. In one week and a half, my fiance and I will be leaving Japan to return to our home in the US. It has been an explosive year as far as many things go, not the least of these has been art. I have really loved what I have been able to learn and practice this year with all of the pictures I have been able to take and memories that I have been able to make.
Another goodbye that I am embracing at this very moment is saying goodbye to my church here in Tokyo. I have loved TBC so much and it has been a great place to continue growing and serving God in the capacity of an exchange student.
I hope that all of you (whoever you are out there

) have enjoyed my pictures of Japan and all that I have seen here. It has been such a fun experience and it has bolstered my confidence that I can master this language. I'm going to try my hardest anyway.
Thanks all and for any of you at home, I'll be looking forward to saying a huge "I'm home!" When I arrive!
How's life? Haven't heard from you in a while so just thought I would drop by and say a quick hello and hope you're well

words to expose the heart of the speaker.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
