It's partly sad, partly happy, but all true. In one week and a half, my fiance and I will be leaving Japan to return to our home in the US. It has been an explosive year as far as many things go, not the least of these has been art. I have really loved what I have been able to learn and practice this year with all of the pictures I have been able to take and memories that I have been able to make.

Another goodbye that I am embracing at this very moment is saying goodbye to my church here in Tokyo. I have loved TBC so much and it has been a great place to continue growing and serving God in the capacity of an exchange student.

I hope that all of you (whoever you are out there :D ) have enjoyed my pictures of Japan and all that I have seen here. It has been such a fun experience and it has bolstered my confidence that I can master this language. I'm going to try my hardest anyway.

Thanks all and for any of you at home, I'll be looking forward to saying a huge "I'm home!" When I arrive!

How's life? Haven't heard from you in a while so just thought I would drop by and say a quick hello and hope you're well :)

I'm great! It's really good to hear from you! I've taken a somewhat very long hiatus from dA because I'm getting married in two months and trying to find a job here in my hometown! We're really excited about the wedding, but it means we almost have no time for hardly any extra curricular activities and so I'm checking dA and other things when I get time. I haven't had time to take any pictures recently either. 'Tis sad, but I hope that your doing well! Thanks for checking up on me! I thought for a while there that if I dropped off the face of dA no one would care. This didn't bother me because I was just doing it for fun, but its nice to know that you care :D

Will do! Thank you so much!

...you don't happen to have facebook do you? I never had the program until I was about to leave Japan and I had friends from all over the world that I knew I would never see again. Just thought I'd ask, but here is the page with our pictures in case you want to see!
